Sri Vidya Dance School
Sri Vidya Dance School, originating from Sri Vidya School of Music and Dance, was founded by Dr. Indira S Rao in 1973 in Hyderabad, India. The school organized dance ballets, competitions, and hosted renowned classical dance legends. Bharatanatyam, rooted in South Indian temples and the four Vedas, encompasses rhythmic (Nritta), expressive (Nritya), and theatrical (Natya) elements. Artistic Director Smt. Akila Rao, a seasoned Bharatanatyam artist, began her training at a young age and has performed worldwide.
